![]() ![]() The next area of the level contains two Skeeters and another ? Switch the player must press the switch and avoid the Skeeters to reach another pipe that takes them to the next part of the level. Once the player reaches the bottom of the area, the level's midway point is reached. This section is full of bricks, which can be Ground Pounded in certain locations to earn coins. After using another ? Switch to make the water rise and another pipe accessible, the player is taken to the next section. This section also contains a small pipe, which allows the player to skip a portion of the level and go into a bonus area however, using this shortcut renders the player unable to retrieve the first Star Coin. The next section contains barrels floating atop the water, along with more Skeeters. At the top of the area is a pipe leading to the next section, along with a ? Block containing a Fire Flower. In the first section of the level, the player must use a ? Switch to make the water rise up, while avoiding a Skeeter and its projectiles. The level starts with the player outside, and a Warp Pipe which takes them into the main level. The water within the level can be made to rise upwards using ? Switches, and lowers on its own after a set amount of time passes. If you get hit as Super Mario or better, you'll bounce off the enemy and away from the switch.This level takes place in an underground area full of water. Also note that you can't sacrifice a hit to pass through Bowser. If you hesitate for even a second, Mario will slow down and get squished. ![]() You want to run under Bowser just as he jumps into the air. As he steps back, jump over the tracking fireballs and run full speed towards Bowser. Randomly after these tracking shots, Bowser will step back a bit and then leap high into the air. In between red fireball shots, Bowser will fire groups of blue tracking fireballs. Bowser will change up his pattern once Jr. out of the way, you can focus on eliminating the big guy by hitting the switch behind him. Hit him three times while avoid daddy Bowser's tracking fireballs to take out Bowser Jr. as he curls into his spiked shell, then intercept his koopa shells to toss back his way. and his resurrected father.at the same time! For the time being, ignore Bowser and focus on Bowser Jr. On the third set of platforms, move along the center platform to continue.Īt the end of the stage you'll face off against both Bowser Jr. On the second set of platforms, stay on the very top level. ![]() If you do it correctly, you'll hear a chime that lets you continue to the next part. If you use the other platform walkways you'll hear a noise that indicates you messed up. At the first set of platforms, run across the lower level (Mario will skip across the gaps) to continue to the next stretch of the stage. ![]() While still holding DOWN to crouch, repeatedly tap the jump button to wiggle your way to the Star Coin.Īfter grabbing the second Star Coin, you'll go through a door and reach a maze area of the stage. Then get a small running start and crouch to slide into the tiny passage. As Super Mario or better, ground pound through the brick blocks in front of the passage to the coin. You'll see the third Star Coin after making it through the maze near the middle of the stage. Ride the platform to the doorway to the left and you'll find the Star Coin in the lower-right corner of the next empty room. Continue through the next doorway and you'll see a rising platform to the left (the same platform you earlier spawned). Later in the stage, in the same room with the first Star Coin, you'll flip the castle for a third time. Hit the switch to spawn a platform on the other side of the wall to your left. Before going through the doorway to the right, go to the far left end of the room and hit the brick block to reveal a switch. When you see a clear path to the left that leads to the platform with the Star Coin, dodge between the whomp's attacks to grab the prize and continue.Īfter flipping the castle for the second time, go through the doorway past the whomp to return to an upside-down version of the previous area. Move up along the stairway and you should see the Star Coin to the right. You'll flip the castle a second time before going through a doorway that brings you to a hall full of miniature whomps. ![]()
